SD embeddedness in courses

The approach to sustainability in education must be complex. It is important to include SD topics not only in the individual study subjects but also in the overall curriculum.

Review some of the tools that we have collected, that will enhance the HEI’s ‘sustainability value’ –its meeting of sustainability ambitions – and this will also contribute to a ‘sustainability mindset’ in the HEI

Transformative Sustainability Learning (TSL)

Framework based on on the “head-hands-heart model” as an organizing principle by which to integrate transdisciplinary study (head); practical skill sharing and development (hands); and translation of passion and values into behavior (heart) engagement, and commitment to advancing sustainability through education, research, operations, and community partnerships.
