Joint research on SD topics with other HEI’s

Collaboration enables researchers to access additional, often specific, expertise, gain new perspectives on research and build relationships with others in the field, which for early-stage researchers can be key to career development.

Review some of the tools that we have collected, that will enhance the HEI’s ‘sustainability value’ –its meeting of sustainability ambitions – and this will also contribute to a ‘sustainability mindset’ in the HEI

Mapping Collaborations and Partnerships in SDG Research

This study uses bibliometric methods and network analysis to examine research output and collaboration supporting the SDGs and explores means to detect and analyze research collaboration beyond the traditional definition of multiple, one-time co-authorship.

The International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN)

The ISCN is a global network of universities, colleges, and other higher education institutions (HEIs) dedicated to promoting sustainability in education, research, and campus operations. By joining the ISCN, university deans can access resources, best practices, and networking opportunities to collaborate with other HEIs on sustainable development (SD) research projects.

The University Global Coalition (UGC)

The UGC is a network of higher education institutions committed to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through teaching, research, and community engagement. By joining the UGC, university deans can connect with other HEIs and collaborate on joint research projects related to sustainable development. The coalition also provides resources, events, and opportunities for knowledge exchange to facilitate collaboration among its members.
