The Ostrom Workshop's Institutional Analysis and Development (IAD) Framework

The IAD framework, developed by Elinor Ostrom and colleagues, is an approach to analyzing institutional arrangements in various contexts, including interdisciplinary research. By implementing the IAD framework, university deans can identify opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and address potential barriers to cooperation among departments.

Open Science Framework (OSF)

OSF is an open-source platform for managing research projects, data, and collaboration. It can be particularly useful for interdisciplinary research, as it allows researchers from different fields to work together, share data, and track project progress. By promoting the use of OSF, deans can encourage collaboration and transparency in interdisciplinary research.
